A Wraithmarked Update... BookCon! And... a Look Inside: the Interior!

Hey there everyone!
Firstly, we wanted to check in on last update's poll! The results are in! In case you missed it, we'll link to it HERE.
As mentioned in the poll update, unless 67% voted in favor of the thinner, parchment-like stock, we'll be going with our usual glossed double stock! Now that the results are in, we'll be ordering our standard style prints! We'll get these ordered this upcoming week and have them sent out to Todd to be signed! You guys will get a sneak peak before we send them off, though! ;)
Secondly...
We just wanted to update everyone and say... THANK YOU! We know this portion of the update is a little late, but we didn't want to bog down the poll/results.
As some of you know, Wraithmarked attended our very first BookCon located in NYC! This was our first time ever coming to this convention and it was such a wonderful trip for us. We had a BLAST and it was definitely unlike any of the other conventions we've been to. As always, y'all came out to support us, and we couldn't be more grateful. Some of you also may have gotten a couple sneak peeks! ;)
We snapped a few pictures - take a look!
We just wanted to reach out and say thank you. It's always lovely to put faces to names, chitchat about campaign progress, find out what everyone's reading, share some behind-the-scenes art, and show off early copies of our books in-person (soon to be fulfilled books)!
We'd absolutely love to go again next year, and if so, we'll be sure to shout it out beforehand! Have a great rest of your week, everyone! <3
And now... for some sneak peeks!
We've got some of the interior to share with you folks today - it's always a good day for more art!
Today, we have a little sneak peek at the title pages and chapter headers. Take a look below!
WIP shot of the title page!

We really love the text wrapping around the image on this design; it feels super organic and really adds to the feel of the overall subject matter of the book! We hope you feel the same!
As always, we'll see you folks in the next one!
We Got in Some Test Art Prints and We Need Your Feedback! And... Last Chance to Get 'Lady Trent's Field Journal'!

Hey there everyone!
We hope you're well! Just a heads up, Kickstarter recently created a brand new feature for a polling system for campaign updates - which we'll be testing out today!
We received a couple different test options for the Todd Lockwood prints mainly because they're 1) so incredibly beautiful, and 2) because we wanted to try and replicate the original feel of the artwork, and by extension, the book. Take a look below!
Top: Spot UV, Bottom: Recycled.
The trouble we have is... the two prints are very different, with different advantages and disadvantages, and we need your input on which one we should go with.
Left: Recycled, Right: Spot UV.
Check out the video below for more information, but the gist is:
our usual paper allows for double stock and glossing one side
the other, yellower paper, has a very cool parchement texture, but only single-stock and no glossing
Left: Recycled, Right: Spot UV.
We'll be running a poll, but unless 67% of people WANT the thinner, parchment-like stock, we'll be going with our usual glossed double stock! Because these prints also need to be signed by Todd, we're only able to leave the survey up for 14 days (until Tuesday, May 5th).
We know we've already shouted it out, but the project ends soon, and a lot of stuff has been unlocked with Stretch Goals!
The project now encompasses two volumes!
Both volumes also have a fully-colored option, for those who would prefer an artbook rather than doing the coloring themselves (this is the main point that might attract new backers who weren’t interested before)!
All backers will receive digital “pages” from Isabella’s notebook, more in the style of a field biologist’s drawings rather than ones suitable for coloring: detail sketches, multiple views, etc. with cross-hatching and shading and so forth!
A Campaign Shout-out! And... An Upcoming Wraithmarked Campaign!

Hey all!
We hope you all are well! We have a couple upcoming Kickstarters we wanted to shoutout today! The first being directly tied to the Lady Trent universe!
From the pre-launch page: “Marie Brennan and Avery Liell-Kok team up to bring you a coloring book from the world of Brennan’s beloved fantasy series, the Memoirs of Lady Trent! The line drawings and accompanying excerpts from Lady Trent’s writings are available as paperback books, packs of loose-leaf sheets, and/or digital bundles.”
THE ULTIMATE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY OMNIBUS
This one seemed like something a lot of you guys might like to be aware of!
On May 5th, Wraithmarked will be releasing what we believe could be considered the most ambitious omnibus edition of Douglas Adam's THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY series ever produced.
As in not only is it a full-color book, but it's going to include 42 full-color illustrations. And that's JUST the interior art. So add in the Smyth-sewn binding. And acid-free paper. And custom covers. And end sheets. And cloth wrapping. And... Well... You get the picture.
There's more detail and a LOT more art revealed on the pre-launch page, so take a look if it interests any of you guys! As always, this will be a single-print run with campaign exclusive discounts, so Kickstarter is the only place you can guarantee your copy and get it at a discount!
Addressing the new (potential) tariffs. No, we will not be charging anyone any additional fees.

IN REGARDS TO THE POTENTIAL TARIFFS
Hey all, Bryce here. This is a quick one.
As with the last time we went through this situation in 2025, I wanted to let our buyers and Kickstarter Backers who are still awaiting their products know that Wraithmarked Creative will not be instituting any additional fees to cover potential tariff costs.
At this time, it's unclear if there will be new global tariffs, much less what they'll be if they come into being. Regardless, in the event that they happen, please rest assured there will be no surprise fees put in place to cover those costs if you have already purchased a book from Wraithmarked Creative or are awaiting a product from one of our campaigns. We'll manage the additional cost one way or the other.
Here's to hoping these tariffs don't come to fruition, period.
All the best, and thank you, everyone, for your patience while we've navigated the complexities of publishing in 2025/26.

A Wraithmarked Update!

Hey there folks!
Typically, we like to show you guys behind the scenes goings on when it comes to book production such as quote requests, a look at the interior art and merch goodies offered during the campaign, maybe even an author signing - that kind of stuff (we've got a few of those updates on the docket in the coming weeks/months)! However, when we can, we also like to let you folks know that we are still a small, independent company with a handful of dedicated employees wanting to make waves in the publishing world. We've come a long way from when we ran our very first campaign, which brings us to today...
We are officially moving into our first warehouse! No more garages or storage units! WOOHOO!
This may not be the most exciting news for some, but for us, it was a looong time coming. We are so excited to begin this new journey in a new location, and we've already started moving our things over! We now have a loading dock! (Like I said, very exciting for us)
That being said, during this process, our support and responses will be a little longer than normal as it's all-hands-on-deck for the move. We're anticipating things to return to normal later next week, but keep in mind, we may have a slight backlog to get through. If you have questions at any point in this process, check out the campaign FAQs and if you need additional help, please send an email to [email protected].
